Mark J. Genda
Funeral Director
A lifelong Clinton County resident, Mark was raised by parents Don and Thelma Genda, with two sisters, Becky and Candace. He graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1981, rounding out his education by graduating from Worhsam College of Mortuary Sciences in 1984.
Mark started his funeral service career while still in high school, working for Wayne and Carol Frye. After graduation from Worsham, he served his apprenticeship at Copher Fesler Funeral Home in Elwood, IN, returning home to Frankfort in 1989, to his roots at the Frye Funeral Home.
He purchased what is now Genda Funeral Home in 1991 and, most recently, the Bodine Funeral Homes in 2006 through a long-time association with David and Linda Bodine.
Mark feels it is important to give back to the community in which he lives. His memberships include St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Friends of Wesley Manor, Paul Phillippe Resource Center Board of Directors, Optimists, Mulberry Community Club, Masonic, Moose and Elks lodges, having held various offices in several. Mark was also elected and served two terms on the Community Schools of Frankfort Board of Trustees.
Mark is honored to be a Funeral Director and licensed prearrangement specialist in his hometown and holds with great appreciation the trust of those we have served through the Genda and Bodine Funeral Homes.

Nathan T. McCullough
Funeral Director
Nathan began his funeral service career in August of 1994 when he went to work for Mark Genda at Genda Funeral Home. After graduating from Frankfort High School and then Mid-America College of Mortuary Science, Nathan was happy to be able to come back home to Frankfort and continue to work with Mark. As a Licensed Funeral Director, a licensed prearrangement specialist and monument salesman, Nathan is honored to work in all aspects of the funeral industry.
In May of 2006 Nathan became co-owner of the Bodine Funeral Homes in Rossville & Mulberry. He is very grateful to Mark for this opportunity and now has the honor of serving families at all three locations.
Nathan enjoys being involved in the various communities; as a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church he currently serves as a trustee, he also serves on the following board of directors, Milner Community Healthcare, Rossville Business Association, Faye Snyder Resource Center & Rossville School Foundation. Nathan is also a member of the Rossville Lions Club & the Frankfort Jaycees.
He is married to Kristen and they have two beautiful daughters. As a lifelong Clinton County resident Nathan is honored to serve those families that call on us in a difficult time.

Chad Douglass

Genda and Bodine Funeral Homes would like to welcome Chad Douglass to our team. Chad has been with us since January 13, 2012. Chad is a Indiana Licensed Funeral Director as well as a Certified Funeral Celebrant and is a native of Frankfort.

Rita J. Betts
Certified Preplanning Consultant
Rita Betts has been employed with Genda & Bodine Funeral Homes since April, 2006. She is a life long resident of Frankfort and graduated from Frankfort High School. Before coming to Genda & Bodine Funeral Homes, Rita was employed at a local financial institution for 15 years and prior to that an air filtration plant for 5 years and a plastic manufacturer for 15 years.
Rita is active in the community and is involved in many service clubs and organizations.
Rita is married to Melvin and has two step-daughters and 4 step-grandchildren. She attends Gloria Dei Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mulberry, where she is involved
with many things including being a Sunday School Teacher.
In October, 2007 Rita completed classes and was awarded the title of Certified Preplanning Consultant. This means all requirements for being an ethical and compassionate preplanner has been completed. This certification is provided though the National Funeral Directors Association. Rita is available to answer any questions that you might have and looks forwarded to serving you and your family.
