Ruby J. Taylor, 81, of Rossville died at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community on Friday, October 30, 2009.
She was born on March 5, 1928 in Carroll County, IN to parents Odis & Grace (Crouse) Hufford.
Ruby graduated from Rossville High School in 1946. She was a homemaker and helped her husband farm and tend to their tree farm south of Rossville. She was a member of the Rossville Church of the Brethren, an avid reader, and she enjoyed taking care of her fish in the family pond.
She married Jesse Junior Taylor on February 16, 1952 in Rossville, and he predeceased her having passed away on April 22, 2001.
Survivors include 1 Daughter, Judy Gilbert (husband George) of Kirklin, IN, 3 Grandchildren, Matthew Gilbert (wife Joeleene) of Michigantown, IN, Michael Gilbert of Monticello, IN, Elaine Gilbert of Kirklin, IN and 1 Brother, Donald Hufford (wife Maribelle) of Crawfordsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, Morris & Odis Jr., 3 sisters, Mary Loy, Helen Sylvester & Helen Raush.
