Donovan Unger Mattix
Donovan Unger Mattix, 87, of Rossville, IN died at Home Hospital Lafayette on Sunday, January 31, 2010. He was born on March 31, 1922 to parents James & Grace Mattix.
Donovan proudly served as a Pharmacists Mate, First Class in the US Navy. He worked at Alcoa in Lafayette until his retirement. He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, American Legion, VFW & Life member of the Military Order Purple Heart USA.
He married Dorothy (Berterand) Mattix, and she predeceased him having passed in 1991. He later married Oneda (Kelly) Mattix in 1993, and she survives.
Survivers include his Wife of Rossville, 1 Daughter 每 Sherri Allen of Dayton, 1 Granddaughter 每 Robyn Lowery of Lafayette, 1 Great Grandson 每 Devin Westmoreland of Lafayette, 2 Step-sons 每 Chuck (Barbara) Fearnow of Indianapolis and Rick Fearnow of California, and 1 Step-daughter 每 Barbara (Bill) Carson of Mechanicsburg.
