Betty Metzger
Betty Metzger, 85, of 5935 W. county Rd. 700 N., Mulberry, IN died at Milner Community Health Care on Monday, March 1, 2010.
She was born on May 16, 1924 in South Bend, IN to parents Milton & Goldie (Duddleston) Weaver.
Betty graduated Frankfort Senior High School in 1944, and she was a lifelong Clinton County resident. She was a homemaker & worked side by side with her husband on their farm. She was also a cook at Rossville High School in the 60¡¯s & 70¡¯s. She was aBrownie Leader and a Grandma who loved her grandkids.
She married Joseph Raymond Metzger on November 17, 1943, and he predeceased her having passed on February 11, 2002.
Betty is survived by One daughter, Linda (husband Terry) McQuern, Frankfort, one son, Joe (wife Marla) Metzger, Rossville, one sister, Rosanna (husband Robert) Forney, Rochester, IN, seven grandchildren, Matthew ( companion Donna) McQuern, Brian (wife Michele) McQuern, A.J. (companion Tonya) Metzger, Jerod (wife Tracy) Metzger, Tanner (wife Andrea) Schwartz, Taylor (companion Kari) Schwartz, Torie (companion Nate) Schwartz, three great-grandchildren, Rachele McQuern, Berkley McQuern & Madison Metzger, & several nieces & nephews.
