George F. McDaniel
George F. McDaniel, 81, of Monticello, IN died at Seton Specialty Hospital on Tuesday, March 30, 2010. He was born on
June 5, 1928 in Frankfort, IN to parents Wilbur & Xrepha (Huffer) McDaniel.
George graduated from Rossville High School in 1946. He was a salesman and spent many years in the agriculture business and the automobile business. He moved to Monticello from Rossville in 1970. He enjoyed Nascar and Indy Racing as well as mowing and being a handyman. He was a member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Monticello Moose Lodge, Rossville United Methodist Church and attend Yeoman Methodist Church.
He married Phyllis Stephenson, and she survives.
George is survived by his Wife, Phyllis, 1 Son - Stephen (wife Linda) of Flora, 1 Daughter - Debra Huffer, Grandchildren - Angie (husband Scott) Beighler, Jenny (husband Brett) Scruggs, Jackie (husband Jeff) Daghir, Chad (wife Kristin) Huffer & Clint Huffer, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Half Brother - Al McDaniel of Millersport, OH.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother - John A. McDaniel .
