Herbert L. Timmons
Herbert L. Timmons, 80, of Mulberry, IN died at his residence on Monday, April 11, 2010. He was born on March 29, 1930 in Jefferson, IN to parents Ray F. & Margaret H. (Dawson) Timmons.
He graduated from Little Jeff High School in 1949. He grew up in Little Jeff and also lived in Corbin, KY for 13 years and Florida for 20 years. He was formerly employed with the Sarasota County Sheriffs Department as a Patrolman and as a dispatcher in Sarasota, FL for 6 years. He retired in 1982 from Timmons Bottled Water in Venice, Florida after selling to Pepsi. He was a former member of Elks, Moose & Eagles Lodges in Venice, Florida.
He married Donna J. Matthews on December 7, 2004, and she survives.
Survivors include his Wife of Mulberry, 3 Sons and 1 Step-Daughter as well as Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons and 2 sisters .
