Jeff W. ˇ°Terpˇ± Terpstra, 60, of Mulberry, IN died at Clarion Arnett Hospital on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. He was born on
September 17, 1949 in Chicago, IL to parents John and Mary Jean (Gower) Terpstra.
Jeff graduated from Frankfort High School in 1967, served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and received a purple heart. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and retired after 30 years in 2006. Outdoor yard work gave him pleasure, especially planting and mowing. He enjoyed traveling with Ila, and they went on several cruises. He was a member of the Harmony Baptist and NRA.
He married Ila Kidd on January 30, 1993, and she survives.
Survivors include his Mother of Frankfort, Wife of Mulberry and 1 son Adam Hipps of Mulberry and 1 daughter Stephanie Hipps of Lafayette as well as 2 sisters - Mindy Knapp of Lafayette and Donna Brower of Burbank, CA.
He was preceded in death by his Father.
