Dorothy M. Jones, 89, of 7690 W. County Rd. 550 N., Mulberry died at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community on Tuesday April 27, 2010. She was born on June 3, 1920 in Boone County, IN to parents Claude & Icie (Price) Wiley.
Dorothy graduated from Lizton High School in 1938 and from Methodist School of Nursing in 1942. She worked as an RN at Methodist Hospital, St. Elizabeth Hospital, Wabash Valley and Home Hospital from which she retired in 1990 after 45 plus years. She was active with the Clinton County Historical Society and loved working on genealogy where she was active on the cemetery preservation movement in Clinton County; was active and enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and family. She was a former member of the Mulberry Home Ec. Extension club.
She married Gilbert H. Jones on May 3, 1942, and he survives.
Survivors include her husband of Mulberry, one son, Allan G. ˇ°Mikeˇ± (wife Stella) Jones of Frankfort, Marsha husband Robert) Zoll of Green Bay, WI, one brother, Wayne Wiley of Jamestown, IN & one sister, Margaret Armstrong of Pittsboro, IN,five grandchildren, Kimberly Speer, Christopher Jones, Lance Jones, Brian Zoll & Matthew Zoll, five great-grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, Kaleigh, Alexander & Jacob
She was preceded in death by her parents & two brothers, John & Joseph Wiley & one sister, Louise Wiley.
