Floyd E. Welk
Floyd E. Welk, 94, of Rossville, IN died on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Milner Community Healthcare. He was born on May 9, 1916 in Minot, North Dakota to parents Mervin & Ethel (Moore) Welk.
Floyd attended Pyrmont Schools and was a Farmer all of his working life in the Rossville area. He farmed until he reached the age of 62 when he retired. He was a member of the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
He married Edith Cottrell on November 30, 1939, and she survives.
Survivors include his Wife - Edith, of Rossville, Daughter - Betty (Husband Darrell) Hufford of Rossville, Son-in-Law - Maurice (Wife Regina) Wolf of Flora, Sister - Nellie Kessler of Rossville, Brother - Galen (wife Donnabelle) Welk of Rossville, Sister-in-law - Mary Ellen Welk of Delphi, 8 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Marie Welk Wolf; 3 Brothers, Marlin, Infant Robert, & Charles George “Bill” Welk.
