William Siegfried Krammes
William Siegfried Krammes, 84, of Mulberry died at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. He was born on January 11, 1926 in Mulberry to parents Edward Paul & Inice Myrtle (Siegfried) Krammes.
Bill attended Mulberry & Rossville schools and served in the Army from April 1945 to September 1948, serving in Japan. He worked at Super Par Oil Company, Skelgas, and 15 years at Fairfield Manufacturing, retiring in 1989. He was a 50 year member F&AM Lodge 618, Live member of Mulberry Conservation Club, and a member of Trinity Church of Mulberry. Bill enjoyed seeing his Mulberry friends from his front porch chair.
He married Anna Mae Miller on Aubust 9, 1952, and she survives.
Survivors include his wife of Mulberry, Two daughters, Kathryn Krammes (husband Gary Ledak), Dallas, TX & Krista (husband Terry) Wright, Frankfort, one son, Kenneth (wife Pamela) Krammes, Mulberry, Two sisters, Miriam DeWees, Mulberry & Julia Garrison, Lafayette, ten grandchildren, Valerie Ledak, Gregory Ledak, Stephanie Ledak, Amanda Krammes, Alyson Krammes, Nicholas Krammes, Elizabeth Krammes, Adam Wright, Brian Wright & Chad Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, David, Paul, Max, & James, one sister, Betty.
