Billy F. Jones
Billy F. Jones, 84, formerly of Sedalia, IN died at his home in Lafayette, Indiana on Monday, June 14, 2010. He was born on June 16, 1925 in Mishawaka, IN to parents Virgil P. & Bess E. (Douglass) Jones.
Billy graduated Rossville High School in 1943. He was an Army Veteran from WWII & was wounded in the Philippines. He earned the Purple Heart & Bronze Star serving our Country. He retired in 1987 from the Lafayette Dental Laboratory where he worked as a Dental Lab Technician for 41 years. He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, life member American Legion, life member Disabled American Veterans, & member of the VFW, Frankfort.
He married Pauline Loving Friend, Roberta Holtman, Three granddaughters, Jennifer (husband Larry) Frey, Rossville, Patricia “Patty” Gaskill, Delphi & Lori Belveal, Lake Cicott, IN, Three great-granddaughters, Katie Frey, Brooke Brooks & Ashley Pollard, one great-great-grandchild, Owen.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jackie L. Robinson.
