Rebecca Ann "Becky" Staley, 62, of Lafayette, died at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born Sept. 10, 1945, in Rochester, to Marian M. Miller and the late William E. VanPelt, and she graduated from Connersville High School and Indiana Wesleyan University.
Mrs. Staley worked in the admissions office at Purdue University, and was an active member of Mulberry United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her mother of Lafayette; a sister, Michon L. Baldauf of Kokomo; and one brother, Charles Robert Emery of Lafayette. Also surviving are a niece and a nephew.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry. Service, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Mulberry United Methodist Church, with Pastors David Hummel and Mike Crawford officiating. Interment Fairhaven Cemetery.
