FRANKFORT — Marjorie K. Ruch, 95, formerly of Mulberry, died at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Wesley Manor Retirement Community in Frankfort, Indiana.

She was born Nov. 10, 1912, in Boone County Indiana and graduated from Kirklin High School in 1929. Her parents were Ernest & Maude (Harlos) Sample.

Marjorie attended Indiana University & Central Normal College in Danville, Indiana and received her teacher’s certificate in 1931. She was a School Teacher in Boone County & Mulberry for 36 years.
She was also a Former Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls for 10years and Den Mother for Cub Scouts for 5years & Girl Scout leader for 5 years. She was a member of the Home Study Circle, Past Worthy Matron of Mulberry Order of Eastern Star, and the St. Luke United Church of Christ.

On Nov. 20, 1933, she married Herbert D. Ruch. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Staton.

She is survived by two Nephews: Robert & Ned Ruch both of Mulberry, IN.

Calling hours will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Amanda Reid Memorial Chapel, Wesley Manor in Frankfort with Funeral Services at 10:30 a.m. the same day at the Amanda Reid Memorial Chapel as well - Chaplain Ron Mann officiating.
