Virginia Lee Addy
Virginia Lee Addy, 77, of Jamestown, IN, died Monday June 16th, 2008 at her residence in Jamestown. Virginia was born April 19, 1931 in Lafayette, Indiana to parents Clifford & Helen (Kopf) Wise.
She married Ralph D. Addy on October 11, 1952, and he predeceased her having passed away September 24th, 2004.
Virginia graduated from Monitor High School in 1949, and sheworked at Rockwood Manufacturing in Rossville. She moved to Jamestown, IN 4 years ago from Rossville, IN. She attended the First Assembly of God in Delphi, IN. She enjoyed Word search puzzles, puzzles, reading, gardening (canning) and fishing.
She is survived by 3 Daughters & 2 Sons: Barbara (Les) Hawkins of Jamestown, IN; Cathy (Randy) LaClair of Norfolk, NY; Cheryl (Randy) Halsema of Delphi, IN; Leonard “Joe” ( Mary) Addy of Sidney, OH; Ralph (Amber) Addy of Rossville, IN; seventeen Grandchildren; 34 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her Husband, Parents, 2 Brothers & 1 Great-Grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 5:00 - 8:00pm Thursday, June 19th, 2008 at the Bodine Funeral Home in Rossville. Funeral Services are Friday June 20, 2008 at 10:30AM also at the Bodine Funeral Home in Rossville with Pastor Brent Oliver officiating. Place of burial will be the Pyrmont Cemetery.
