Marlene Edith Patchett Katzman

Marlene Edith Patchett Katzman, 72, of rural Mulberry, died at Home Hospice on Monday June 23, 2008. She was born September 13, 1935 in Clinton County, IN and her parents were Berna Clifton & Carrie Evelyn (Heffley) Patchett.
Marlene graduated from Michigantown High School in 1953 & St. Elizabeth Nursing School in 1956. She was a Registered Nurse at the Rossville Arnett Clinic for many years and then part-time at the Frankfort Medical Clinic until retiring in 1998. She was a member of Trinity Church of Mulberry where she was a Deacon, Elder & sang in the choir for many years. She was also very active in Bible Studies at the church. She was a Member of Home Study Circle, Mothers club (Past President) & Garden Club (Past President). She loved her Grandchildren, to Garden, to Travel & do Geneology.
She married Karl E. Katzman on November 24, 1955 and he survives her.
Survivors include Husband Karl of Mulberry; One Son, Karl "Jon" Katzman of Mulberry; One daughter, Karlena (Doug) Marsh of Mulberry; Four Grandchildren, Keli & Kevin Marsh and Keri & Katie Katzman; Two Sisters, Ruby Buntin of Lafayette and Elsie Goldsberry of Mulberry; Two Brothers, Harold Patchett of Lafayette and Wayne Patchett of Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Kathlene as well as one sister and one brother.
Calling will be from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry and one hour prior to the service, Friday at the church. Funeral Services are on Friday, June 27th, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the Trinity Church of Mulberry with Pastor Merton Bobo officiating. Burial will be at the Fair Haven Cemetery. Memorials to the Trinity Church of Mulberry.
