Anna Maxine Weflen
Maxine was born on February 23, 1944 in Tippecanoe County, IN to parents Benjamin and Lelia Atwell Whitlock. She married Paul A. Weflen on September 28, 1947 and they recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. Paul survives her.
Maxine graduated as Valedictorian of the 1943 Class at Monitor High School. She was a homemaker all of her life. She worked at Bennett’s Greenhouse and was a member of Gloria Dei Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Mulberry Home Study Circle and the Mulberry Community Club.
Survivors include her Husband; 2 Sons, Stephen (Wife Karen) Weflen of Anderson, Indiana and Peter (Wife Brenda) Weflen of Rossville, Indiana; 2 Daughters, Ellen (Husband Gary) Roughhead of Washington DC and Karen Weflen of St. Louis, MO; 7 Grandchildren, Jennifer (Husband Tony) Welborn, Eric ( Wife Jennifer) Weflen, Michael Weflen, William Reynolds, Elizabeth Roughead, Marcia Weflen and Ivve Weflen; 2 Sisters, Lola Dixon and Annie Harper and 1 Brother, James Whitlock; 5 Great Grandchildren
