Helen Evelyn Brown Drinan
Helen was employed by Purdue University as a Lab Technician for 12 years and retired in 1978 from the Life Sciences Dept. She enjoyed playing Euchre, traveling throughout California, Texas, Michigan and Northern Indiana and loved cruises. She was a Member of Greenville Presbyterian Church and the First Nazarene Church in Winter Haven, FL and attended Victory Christian Center in Lafayette.

Helen married Kenneth L. Brown on August 23, 1933, and he predeceased her having passed away on March 15, 1983. She later married Edward Drinan in June of 1992 and he is deceased as well.

Survivors include 2 Sons – Fredrick K. Brown (wife Lorena) of Winter Haven, FL and Ronald L. Brown (wife Connie) of Lafayette, IN; 3 Step Children – Kathy, Dave & Tim; four Grandchildren and six Step Grandchildren; four Great Grandchildren and twelve Step Great Grandchildren; three Step Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers - Edwin L. & Ray A. Miller and 2 Sisters - Mabel Zeider & Mona Imler.

Helen Evelyn Brown Drinan, 95, of West Lafayette, IN died on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at George Davis Manor. Helen was born on November 11, 1912 in Carroll County, IN to parents James D. & Bertha Z. (Parse) Miller. She graduated from Cutler High School in 1923 and grew up in Cutler, IN moved to Flora, then Logansport, then Marion, then Dinuba, CA and later Sedalia and Rossville. She also wintered in Winter Haven, FL
