Victoria Lea Gray
Vickie put her faith and trust in Jesus Christ and was saved at a very young age. Vickie married Gary W. Gray on July 28, 1973 and moved to Indiana where she has lived for the past 35 years. She was a member of Oakland Christian Church, where she was a pianist and choir director.
She graduated from Butler University, Jordan College of Music in 1979. She taught music at Rossville Schools from 1986 to 1998. After teaching she attended the Hixon Floral Design School in Cleveland, Ohio in 1999. She enjoyed floral design and specializing in wedding design.
Surviving with her husband Gary are three daughters, Nicole Gray Weaver (husband Matt) of Frankfort, Kelley Leigh Huizar (husband Joel) of Lafayette, and Christy Jo Gray at home and 3 grandsons, Noah, Jacob & Luke Weaver. She was also awaiting the arrival of a fourth grandson Christian Victor-Lee Huizar.
Also, surviving are two brothers, Rick Mammen (wife Marilyn) of Lamar, MO, Laurence Mammen (wife Beth) of Springfield, MO. and two sisters Carole Sue Hendrix (husband Ron) of Kearney, MO and Joyce Mammen of Carthage, MO.
Victoria blessed others with her musical talents, humble spirit and love for others. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, cherished friend to many and a faithful daughter of Christ.
Victoria went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2008 at 12:15pm in the comfort of her home in the presence of her family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville on Sunday November 30, 2008 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Funeral Services will be Monday December 1, 2008 at 10:00am in the Bodine Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Weldy officiating. Burial will take place at Geetingsville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Gideons International or the Melanoma Foundation.

Victoria was born March 28, 1953 in Lamar, Missouri to Harold and Maggie Mammen. Raised on a farm in Dade County, Missouri, she graduated from Lockwood High School in 1971.
