Thelma Jean Whitlock
Thelma Jean Whitlock, 55, died Friday March 6, 2009 at Home Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born March 4, 1954 she was the daughter of Carrie (Whitaker) Fultz and the late Marshall Fultz. She graduated from Clinton Prairie High School in 1970.

She married the love of her life Richard Lee Whitlock on January 15, 1977 and he survives.

Mrs. Whitlock worked at National Homes for 10 years; then retired from Carastar Paper after 28 years. She had attended and was baptized in the Mulberry Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening with her husband, gambling, bingo and scrap booking. Thelma extended her love to friends & neighbors as thou they were family.

Surviving with her husband and mother are her daughters Richlyn Rice (husband Jason) and Jessica Clawson (husband Scott) both of Lafayette and four brothers Jerry Fultz (wife Marylou) of Lafayette, Bill Fultz ( wife Mary) Mike Fultz (companion Montie) and Ken Fultz all of Mulberry

Also surviving are three grandchildren Avery and Anden Rice and Celina Clawson she loved them all. She also loved her five nephews and four nieces

Services will be 10 am, Tuesday March 10 2009 at Bodine funeral Home in Mulberry with visitation on Monday from 4 – 8 Pm and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday Burial will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery in Mulberry Memorials to Clinton County Cancer.
