Louise A. Mason
Louise A. Mason, 98, of 3212 Foxglove Lane Baltimore, Maryland, died at he daughter's home on Wednesday, April 8, 2009.
Born on August 14, 1910 in Lebanon, Indiana in Boone County, she was the daughter of The Late Charley M. and Nora E. Sheets Powell. She married Mason on June 1, 1929, and he predeceased her having passed away on October 30, 1984.
Louise graduated from Flora High School in 1928. She has been a resident of Baltimore Maryland since 198, is a former resident of Kokomo, IN most of her life, and also lived in Clinton County near Frankfort, IN for 10 years as wall as in the Hawthorne and Arcadia, Florida. Louise was a homemaker and also provided daycare for the Robert Downey Family for 9 years in the Kokomo area. She was employed for 3 years in the Maternity Ward at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo as a housekeeper.
Louise is a former member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Kokomo, Watersedge Baptist Church in Dundalk, Maryland and Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Middlebury.
Survivors include 2 Daughters: Carol Mason, and Suann Mason both of Baltimore, MD, 2 Sons, Eugene and Wife Donna Mason and Richard Mason both of Kokomo, IN, 1 sister Edith Katherine Hollingsworth of Rossville, 1 Brother Charles and Wife Sandy Powell of Nowata, OK and several nieces and nephews as well as 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and 3 brothers Elmo, Basil and Elby Powell and 1 sister Hilda Woodward.
