Luther “Roy” Jones
Luther "Roy" Jones, 75, of Mulberry died at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana on Sunday, May 24, 2009. He was born on December 31, 1933 in Tennessee.
Roy attended schools in Tennessee and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the United States Army. He lived in Mulberry since 1967. He was a a truck driver for many years and a body shop sorman at Fireproof Garage in Lafayette before that. He retired in 1998. He enjoyed Nascar and NFL football.
Roy married Norma Sue (Mendenhall) Jones in 1965, and she survives.
Survivors include his Wife of Mulberry, 2 Sons – Michael (wife Kimberly) of Lafayette & David (wife Melissa) of Mulberry as well as many extended family members in Tennessee. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
