Virginia Helen Yoder
Virginia Helen Yoder, 95, formerly of 221 W. Jackson, Mulberry died at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community on Monday, September 14, 2009. She was born on March 24, 1914 in Clinton County, IN to parents Carl V. & Lessie (Hale) Stong.
Virginia married William H. Yoder in June 1937, and he predeceased her having passed away on August 24, 1977.
She graduated from Forest High School in 1932 and Indianapolis Beauty School. She lived in Mulberry since 1938, and she enjoyed fishing, playing euchre & bridge, cooking & sewing.
She was a member of the Trinity Church of Mulberry, Order of Eastern Star, Home Study Circle & Mother’s Club.
Survivors include 4 daughters - Jill (husband Mark) Charles, Frankfort & Vicki (husband Ron) Gascho, Rossville
Sandy Storz, Dayton & Jennifer (Husband Ron) Cree Rossville; 1 son, Carl (Wife Pam) Yoder, Lafayette; 1 Sister – Josephine Sanders of Lafayette; 8 Grandchildren – Lisa Skiles, Lori Schimmel, Heather Garriott, Mandi Martin, Heidi Walker, Lesly Leap, Michael Yoder & Scott Storz; 2 Step Grandchildren – Philip Richmond & Paula Lovegrove; 12 Great-Grandchildren & 9 Step Great-Grandchildren; as well as 1 Great-Great Grandchild and 3 Great-Great Step Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 Sisters, Dora Willey & Betty Blackburn, 1 Granddaughter.
